Product Guide is provide to give customers idea on range of suitable products specific to their hair types. We will be covering  Type 2- 4 hair as a whole, but we definately will not exclude type 1 and relaxed/texturised hair

 

This only a guide there will be slight variability within various hair types, and often times most individuals will have different hair types mixed together.

 

 

Type 2 -  This hair type is wavy, it often have good abiliy to retain moisture, but tends to frizzy.

Cleansing - Organic Babassu Conditioning Shampoo

 

Conditioning -

                        Fine - Medium hair - Organic Hair Milk

                        Coarse - Avocado Detangling Conditioner Lite (COMING SOON)

 

Leave-in Conditioner - Silk Conditioning Leave - in  Mist or Cream Conditioning Mist

 

Styling - Curl Control Styling Gel, Use in conjuction with Silk Conditioning Leave-in Mist

 

Seal - Sealing is useful if hair tends to dry or during colder months

         Mowrah and Coffee Butter,  Organic Coconut and Sapote Souffle, Monoi hair pomade

 

Treatments -

            If chemically treated (especially if colour treated) monthly - fortnightly use of Protein Cocktail with Ceramides recommended.

 

 

 

Type 3 is mainly curly, usually with definated S shaped strands, it is often full  bodied, appears straighter when wet with a tendency to curl up tightly as it dries. In very humid conditions this hair type can often appear frizzy.

Moisturiser - Painya Hair Butter, Nilotica and Manketti Buttercream

 

Sealing - Monoi Hair Pomade, Mowrah and Coffee Butter, Organic Coconut and Sapote Souffle

 

 

Treatments -

 

             Dry Hair type - weekly, fortnightly or monthly moisturising deep conditioning with Avocado Detangling Conditioner, some type 3c may need the added moisturising effect of Tucuma Curl Moisture Mask.

            Chemically treated - weekly, fortnightly to Monthly use of Proten Cocktail with ceramides. Do not forget to follow this treatment with deep conditioning with Avocado Detangling Conditioner if you have dry hair.

 

 

 

 

 Type 4 Hair- this particular category consist of tightly coiled and kinky hair types, often fragile, but very versatile.

Style Specific

            Chemically treated - weekly, fortnightly to Monthly use of Proten Cocktail with ceramides. Do not forget to follow this treatment with deep conditioning with Tucuma Curl Moisture Mask if you have dry hair.

 

 

 

Type 1 Hair:

Organic Babassu Conditioning Shampoo for cleansing and Organic Hair Milk for daily Conditioning, of course Silk Conditioning Leave-in Mist as daily leave-in or Cream Conditioning Mist esp if Hair tends to be dry.

Some may find hot oil treatment useful, and if chemically treated monthly to fortnightly use of Protein Cocktail with Ceramides.

 

 

RELAXED / TEXTURISED: For those that are relaxed or texturised , cleansing and conditioning should be based on your real hair type recommendation. Protein Cocktail with Ceramides recommended for use fortnightly to monthly. Styling products of choice will be based on degree of texture left in hair and styling option.
